Holy Crap. I slip away for a couple days and look what I miss. Bill, this is a fantastic series of flies working out this technique and thanks so much for the SBS. Each of the subtle steps make all the difference. This is really nice. Something I will definitely have to fool around with. Much thanks.

Thanks, Bill. This is exactly what I needed. I was attempting to do this with barbs cut off of the rachis. This is a whole bunch easier.

This should be bookmarked. I've seen it before (when I didn't need it). But when I needed it I could never find out where I'd seen it and had to mickey mouse what I thought I saw. I never did get it exactly correct and the hackle showed that.
This is nice!!!!
