That would be a great size, colour of imitation for over here.
I like the proportions in relation to the hook. Kind of sleek and slender on a hook that says "I mean business".

Certainly a great job CC. I really like the material choices and the color scheme. I like the bigger head as well. Stonefly patterns in my box get tied a little different than many of my other wingless wets wets. I change them for profile purposes. One of the differences is a larger head like you have done here. The other difference is that I usually open wrap the hackle through the thorax. One full wrap in front, one wrap through the thorax to the rear, then finished with one wrap at the rear. It is just my attempt to represent the more leggy appearance of the stoneflies. The third difference is I always add a tail to my stonefly patters as they seem to be a prominent feature on stoneflies, more so than I feel on most other insects.

I think this would work very well for the winter stones in a little smaller size.
