Re: Chocolate Sparrow
Sweet fly. The hook gives it a nice racy look.

Fish when you can, not when you should! Anything short of this is just a disaster.

Very nice and in a practical size.
Is that a 200R style hook equivalent?

Cool fly!
I agree about the hook - looks like it's speeding just sitting there.

Re: Chocolate Sparrow
It is similar. Straight eye, 3XL with a bit more dropped hook bend than the 200R. It has more gape as a result. As Ray said, it's a bit racy too!Mataura mayfly wrote: Is that a 200R style hook equivalent?
Re: Chocolate Sparrow
A beautiful Sparrow variation. Love it!! The fish here are awfully attracted to this style of fly.

I thought I'd drop a line to let you know I am still alive and kicking.
I like the fly very much, I'm glad standards are being maintained.

Donald! How very good to hear from you. We have all been quite concerned about your welfare, and it is a relief to know that you are OK.
