Mallard dun
After the SWAP with the NZ-stuff I asked the people who were in that SWAP to tie the same fly as I did with the materials I had put in the bag that was with my fly. We all had the same materials. Only the thread was the tiers choice.
4 people send me a fly, thank you all!!.
I think it is really nice to see the differences. BTW I shall send the flies to Casting for Recovery.
Here are the pictures:

All really nice and amazingly similar IMHO. Mallard has always given me troubles as a hackle, and you fellows have tamed it well. Thank you for sharing the "project", Ruard.

Re: Mallard dun
Ruard, thank you again for the materials and for seeing up this project. It's great to see them all together. It reminds me that I need to spend some time working on that body technique. Nice shots.

Those are great to see together. Thanks for the post Ruard.
I hate it when I think I'm buying organic vegetables, and when I get home I discover they are just regular donuts.

Ruard, Howdy;
Thank you for the challenge. It is nice to see how each compares
to the others. An interesting and thoughtful project.
Again, thanks for the invite, the challenge and the opportunity.

Gee, mine looks kind of anorexic beside the others...... maybe the orange yarn headed version might have looked better!
Nice to see the subtle variations in the fries returned to you Ruard, thank you for posting them up here.

Re: Mallard dun
Ruard - Thank you for sharing these with us. Beautifully photographed. I enjoyed seeing each of the flies, and how they are constructed.
Beautiful flies everyone.
