All, we have just made the cross country move from cincinnati to northern Colorado. Looking forward to getting out on the poudre and big thompson river inthe next couple weeks. Any recommendations for patterns for the poudre?

Any recommendation for sections of the river to try out?

Heres a few Soft Hackles that will work on your side of the divide. My buddy lives in Westminster and fishes those areas.

A variety of Hares ears



Throw in a Pheasant tail SH and you should be fine.

Get in touch with a few local fly shops for up to date flows and patterns.

Perhaps we will meet some time on my side of the divide, and fish the Colorado, or Roaring Fork together.
