Just want to give the Raccoon a big thumbs up! I tied up couple in size six and couple in eight. No beads, 5-7 turn of lead under the body. Used black Hares ear plus for the body and partridge for both the tail and front hackle.

This thing catches fish! A pile of brookies last night and a very nice brown this morning. Now, off the the bench to tie about a hundred more of these guys. Thanks for posting the pattern Letumgo!

Thanks for posting that Jay. I've caught a lot of fish on Skip Morris's Raccoon fly. Be sure to try them on yellow and in white. You will be glad you did... :D

Ray I love it. I am a big fan of bead head flies. I usually do well with them here. I love the variation you came up with.
