Ray, these flies are all good, but the ones I posted above are my favorites. You hit these out of the ball park in my opinion. I should be tying some streamers, but these are making me get in the mood to tie some similar, wow. These flies are incredible. I have no doubt at all, that the fish will just kill these flies.

I fixed a bunch of missing photos in this post. I was actually looking for a post that Wayne made at one point showing a natural caddis next to one of my green itch scrathers. (Wayne - Do you remember the picture I mean? Can you repost the picture? Would you let me use it in my book? You would get full credit for the picture, of course.)

Sorry Ray, I no longer have it. It was not my picture anyways. I believe I got it from troutnut.com.

Outstanding! If I were a trout watching the big game, I'd have a big bowl of these right next to me. These are really cool lookin' flies.

Ray, Howdy;

Wow, brings up some memories.....
This post hit just 4 days after I joined the forum. To say
some water has passed under the bridge since then is
like adding a drop of water to an olympic sized swimming pool.....

Dang, Ray, any other posts you want to restore and bump to the top would be fantastic. This is such a great thread and the pics are amazing. I honestly had forgotten all about this, and with the recent wool posts, it makes me want to do a little wool banaza myself. Great bump.

Those flies are simply fantastic! When I saw this thread, I wondered how I could miss such a great series. :oops: Then I noticed the date of the original post. I am so glad somebody brought this back up. Wonderful flies and very inspirational. Thank you for sharing, Ray. :)

Bumping an old post, which discusses use of wool yarn for dubbing.
