We have been to Wales and I fished four days with him. It was as nice as I tought. We had a day on the Afan, a day on the Wye, a day on the Irfon and a day on the Usk. We had rather good weather but not to much fish. Only in the afternoon we saw some insects, olives and Marchbrowns (?) and no fish on top of the water. So we fished with bead headed nimfs like the RedButtedHaresEar. I caught my first Seatrout ever. Here are some pictures of the trip:

We think this is a seatrout of 40 cm and else it is a big ( for me) trout.

Ruard, congrats on a wonderful trip. Looks like a beautiful place to spend some time. Maybe in my lifetime I'll get there myself.

Who was your photographer? These are such nice pics. Great report.

Absolutely lovely. Great that you were able to spend that much "quality time" with your son, Ruard.

Hi William, if you come to this side of the ocean give me a PM and I shall try to share some days with you. The pictures are of myself and my son Taco!
