The Art of Fishing with Nymphs
As you can see above, fishing with nymphs has never been easy. You attempt to net a bluegill in a mass of lilypads, and your nymphs get tangled and confused. Little worry lines start on their alabaster brows, and their sultry voices raise an octave. This early Greek flyfisherman, in traditional Spartan fishing vest, should have used only one nymph; a large cast like that is unnecessary and counterproductive.

Vicki,
Have no fear, fly fishermen, especially those who seek trout, are not equipped with a libido. Maybe it is standing in cold running water up to the waist, perhaps it is OCFD (Obsessive Compulsive Fishing Disorder), but for some reason -- studies prove this -- a fly fisherman watching a svelte Danish swimsuit model casually shrug out of a mink coat will be able to tell you later everything about the quality of the fur and what flies he could tie with it. You will notice in the painting above that the nymphs are clutching the fisherman, while he, with a pained expression, is simply trying to net the bluegill.
But yes, we are incredibly attractive to aquatic women. Go figure.

Well see I don't have quite the same issues but yes I can see the pain. Of course the thing about the mink coat......
Oh and my understanding is that the cold running water has it's merits. Supposed to be good for the swimmers (oops this is a family channel).

No wonder I'm predominantly a nymph fisherman Did you notice that a short line will suffice in catching a nymph or do you not care
Life is good, why waste it.
