Hi Mike,
No, it's just some wool I got for cheap on craigslist. I use it for dye tests so I can see the result without screwing up something rare and expensive. The Berlin wool that I dye is an imported yarn exactly the same as the original. One of the fly tyers I correspond with was in Scotland and got a discarded bit of antique Berlin woolwork from a restoration studio which he later sent to me. Bil

Just been reading various books and excerpts re Juliana Berners and it would seem in some quarters there is a theory she did not write the Treatise and there is considerable debate as to her very existence........

All very interesting...
