My Google showed "Gordon Griffith" on the spool. Thats what has me wondering.

Mine doesnt. It doesnt matter as I do like the thread and intend on using it. I was just wondering.
Oh, and my spools are a light yellow in color. Everything I am seeing after I GOOGLED was white spools.

Thank you Ray

Your spools also say "Made in UK" on them, which seems to support them being Griffith's Sheer thread.

This link has the Griffith's thread on a yellow spool.

Ray's confirmed it, but I can say I have a few of the spools which are a dark ivory color and some that are just white. Some say Gordon Griffith's and some just say Sheer 14/0 on them. They are all the same, and have the same high qualities and issues that I mentioned. This is my go to thread. I buy it when I see it, and sometimes just for fun. It's that weird tier's nervousness that one day you'll find out someone stopped making a product you depend on. Maybe I should pick up another ff806 while I'm thinking about it. :D

Interesting stuff. Anyone ever try this. I found it by accident, but it looks good, and the price is pretty good, too!

I may order a few.

Oops, I see there's a problem. No color choices. Wonder what is going on?

I cant say they had much of a selection, but what they had is what I was after. I already have my fly boxes packed away for a trip tomorrow. I am going to have to drag out my Midge/Micro Mayfly box and load it with some of these baetis I tyed. :-)
