i think it looks very cool.....looks like it was fun.....and nothin' is more important than that. If your enjoying yourself with your tying.....learning things.....pushin' your own personal boundries, etc., what more can be asked for? Just keep havin' Fun.....we love it. i like the colors you used together.

This name after a legendary trumpet player from the 40's.........long time member of the Basie Band. The red bead inside the hackle, is bout the smallest size i have in a silver lined glass bead.

That's simply elegant, Mark. Here's one I did as a lark ... a giant waterhen bloa on a Size 6 salmon hook (Daiichi 2421) using Gudebrod "D" rod winding thread; I call it a "blymph" ...

Mark, that Hot Lips is a neat tie, funny thing is the pink is actually a killer colour at times. I'd bet any self respecting Steelhead would not let it pass by.
Bill, your Blymph- if photographed away from the vice jaws, would be hard to tell it was "oversized". Nice proportions.
