Leisenring Style
I keep reading about tying in Leisenring Style. Does anyone know any videos that I could watch concerning this style? I have Dave Hughes book, but that is it.

Thanks Ray. I had hoped someone might have a video bookmarked. I learn much easier that way. At least I have a better idea now, thanks to your link.
Re: Leisenring Style
I would love to see a video or step-by-step of Ray using his dubbing block to create Leisenring-style dubbing.

I'd like Jim S. to one in the traditional style.

Why not start a Vimeo or YouTube channel on wet flies and all of you great tiers do a piece or 10, on different flies, techniques and materials. Why stop at one person. There is so much talent here. Mark, Ray, Bob, Jim... on and on and on.....

I made one of these blocks many moons ago and I have been trying to find it.
It is buried somewhere in the house. I did find this picture of it on a Pix CD
in my filing system (Hysterical Laughter), it may be of some use or interest.
or on the web-site http://donaldnicolson.webplus.net/page29.html

Re: Leisenring Style
Thank you Donald. This is a great reference drawing. I had never seen this drawing before. I notice a couple differences (the Vee-groove and only two brass brads) when compared with the one I made. It is interesting to notice both brads are used in the process of forming the silk dubbing brush. Again great information.
