Holy cow! Old Hat's collection simply blows me away.

I was going to write something about "The Burlap" when I kept on scrolling down...

This is just ridiculous!

So much talent!!

'mericans have emptied the word awesome of it's true meaning. Such a shame!!!!!!!!

Here is a Steelhead Spade/flymph of mine tied with copper dubbing in a loop, dyed deer hair and dyed Guinea hackle. I think copper is a color that is underutilized in tying and fishing.

The Burlap has long had a place in my box as well!

That's a great color combo--and I've been trying to source some of Old Hat's copper tinsel, too. :)

The last copper tinsel I found was a UNI-Mylar with copper on one side and blue on the other.

Excellent, I've seen that--and blue isn't a bad color, either. :)

Very nice Roadkill. Should be a great color, and I agree with your comment of the copper. I prefer it over gold. The Copper/Blue mylar is what I use most often however you can find embossed copper tinsel around. I've had trouble finding very small copper wire. Not the stuff uni sells which is a bright copper, but the true deep copper color wire.
I hate it when I think I'm buying organic vegetables, and when I get home I discover they are just regular donuts.

I like copper too, and use it. I used copper wire this evening. (instead of gold wire) Mark, I loved your fly. Very nice work. The guinea was the ticket!
