Questions - It looks like there are some olive fibers mixed in with the hackle. How did you do this? Were these part of the body, or part of the collar on the fly? I like the effect a lot. It adds another nice little visual element to the fly.

Thread was split, UV Ice Dub inserted. Then peacock herl and 'dubbed' thread twisted together.
Makes sense?
