Re: Artistic JazzFlies
How did you achieve the mottled look on the head of the first fly? Brilliant detail.

Re: Artistic JazzFlies
Two coats dry.....third bout to go on.................btw, i burned out two others yesterday (day before by the time you see this)................one is on a Modified Gaelic Supreme Harrison Bartlette 8/0.........i call it the Guinea Grub.......has three red glass beads, sections of Montana Fly Company Seal Sub red dubbing, and 4 wound red Guinea feathers, with a black and red head. It's just a wacked-out Grub fly is all.....in the old style, but modernized.
The other is pretty much cmpletely WACKED as well........... Has a silver bead butt, no tail, grey dubbed body with a silver braid ribbing, and a buch of White Eared Pheasent feathers in the wing and first collar.....then a speckled Guinea feather front collar. Thing was a BITCH! to get right......i hadda do that front collar 4 times to finally get it..........just kept fighin' and fighin' me.....but in the end, i whiped it's ass. Misa could prolly hear me cursin' all the way upstairs........ Really helps sometimes........

Re: Artistic JazzFlies
Hank - I love the Muppets. I have seasons one and two on DVD. It is great to go back and watch these episodes after so many years. The various hosts of the Muppet Show were the "Who's Who" in entertainment at that time. The Muppets were/are quality family viewing (unlike today's reality programming/comedy news shows/etc/don't get me started...).
