REE, Howdy;

Can't you use the memory card and insert it in the computer or buy one that has the 'holder'
to shove into a slot ?????
Just askin' .....

Hank,

My laptop doesn't have a card slot, just USB ports. My tower has that capablility, but it's in the shop for repairs and a new video card.

REE, Howdy;

Some days you eat the bear...other days the bear eats...hopefully someone else...

Ya don't have to out run the bear, just the person next to ya... :lol:

hank,

Your saying reminds me of a T-Shirt my buddy wore after being in Iraq. "I'm from Bomb Disposal. If you see me running..try to keep up!"

REE, if you could hang out with any ONE person from history, who would it be?

w-h,

With the prospect of spending time with just one great man or woman from all of history and gleaning their knowledge, it would have to be my Dad. He passed way to young and I miss him every day. He's the one who taught me to hunt and fish, two pursuits that have served me well.

Very understandable.........nice sentiment...........wonderful answer. Satisfies my curiosity & the insight is much appreciated. Respectfully..... :)

hank, btw.....i finally hadda chance to look over your fly...........and it does have the ribbing. i like the body very much. i'm curious as to why you chose such a small hook to work on.........but be that as it may, and since you ask.
Looks as if you tyed your hackle in a bit to far forward.....perhaps your were trying to wind towards the rear, and do the thread back through number.....??
The hackle length is very nice.....but there's just a little gap between where the body ends (forward end), and where the hackle meets it. You need to have that filled in......it's a very simple "fix." Either dub a thorax, or no matter which way your winding your hackle, keep things "Tight." In other words, tidy. Body parts should meet, without spaces in between. ;)
