Re: What rod do you use?
I've never really got a chance to use a boo rod for any type of fishing but, I've used glass before and loved it.
I've also built a rod on a Tiger Eye blank which has a progressive action, 7'4 3/4wt for the streams in my local area and that preforms great.
Above all though, I love my Cortland Brook. 10ft 4wt. It's just great with mending and presentation. Very sensitive as well.
I recommend giving this rod a go if anyone here is looking for a 10 footer.

Re: What rod do you use?
Hardy Marksman 10 ' 5 wt. for wet flies, my preferred graphite rod and fishing method these days.
TFO Deer Creek switch rod 11 ' 5 wt for nymphs and streamers on big waters
Scott SAS 7 wt. for bass (my first rod)
Winston BIIx 9'6" 5 wt. for general trout fishing when I am not fishing a cast of three wet flies, which is rare anymore
I got a chance to fish a friend's A. Kube 7'6" foot bamboo (5 or 6 wt I think).........."sweeter than a beautiful companion saying 'yes' "...........kinda spoils you for anything else, IMO.

I fish wet flies with faith and hope, faith that trout don't require exactitude and hope that when my time comes, God will explain why wet flies work...
Re: What rod do you use?
Wow....you guys use looooong rods...lol. My big rod is a 9' 6wgt that I use for big water as I'm not a great caster. The rods I like to use the most is a 7' 3wgt and a 7.5' 4wgt. I love the small rods on a trout stream where I can wade and fish, that is my cup of tea, especially if they are taking dry flies.
