Re: FlyTyer
This months Fly Tyer. Begins on page 30. I'm wondering why they only showed, on page 32, the method of stripping fibers just from the bottom half. I think they would have included stripping one side as well. On page 33, again, they show the prepared feather tied in facing the hook eye. I think they should have shown both directions. IMHO.
One thing nice about this issue, I have always touted rising or should I say dislodge nymphs be tied on curved hooks and received heat on this. Now I feel vindicated. Page 16's article 10 tips for tying better nymphs. Tip #1: Use Curved-Shank Hooks.

That's a wounderful offer and I thank you for it. However I have to decline.
I live in a 30' 5th wheel RV with Rascal, my loyal Border Collie. Space is at a premium.
Would love to have them ... just nowhere to store them as I most likely wouldn't want to get rid of them
I found the website will delve further into it in the next few days.
Thanks again;

The new article isn't on the website, it's only on the stand or subscription.

Must remember to pick it up. Should really get a subscription.
Often I have been exhausted on trout streams, uncomfortable, wet, cold, brier scarred, sunburned, mosquito bitten, but never, with a fly rod in my hand have I been in a place that was less than beautiful.
