Hans, this technique/pattern/method, just rings very true for me. the rib, the dub, the hackle. its an assembly that I will very happily adopt, if in my limited way. fantastic assembly. For me though, the method would be just as well suited in a more calming color combination. Maybe a more Mild Mannered version.

Hi Hans,
I'm afraid I've missed some of your flies, but will look through the posts to be sure. I'm still not feeling up to par, but I'm looking at two really nice patterns that have gotten my interest up, once again. I am looking forward to fishing, hopefully, soon, and your flies always give me a great boost.

Rib: Tying silk, split, small amount of dark claret seal's fur inserted, twisted and spiraled back to eye of hook
