i think we good to go again.....(we'll see).....hopefully i just picked up 14 pic slots from the Misako's artwork thread.......ya'll know where to find that over at the myphotoalbum.com site. ;) .....so let's see.....

the tail and collar are the same feather.....outta the same package i mean.....Burnt Spey Hackle.....a friend (Mary K Janco), gave me the bead.....actually the same friend who's given me quite a few beads.....her and her husband (Jack Janco) always stay with us when they're here for the Sowbug and or the FFF Southern Council Conclave.....Jack is the most recent past President of the Red River Fly Fishers over Lake Texoma way........they got some SERIOUS Stripers in that lake. :D We stay with them when we do the Texoma Tye-In and the Fly Fish Texas shows. i got Mary K "IN" to tye at the Sowbug a couple years back, and now her AND Jack are going to tye this year......... 8-)

MMMMM lemon lime jello? I really love that bead, it almost looks like a pretty little heart shaped stone. The spey hackle is pretty fascinating. I have a pack of black here and it looks like it would have a lot of movement. Of course on your fly it looks light and airy. I like it!

Have you tried the orange with mandarin bits and marshmallows and I think I remember coconut. Now THAT'S good.

That fly does look good enough to eat..... ;)
And yes Vicki, the bead is stone, tag is Krienik (double stranded), and the ass is bronzed peacock herl. 8-)
The eyes on most all of these recent flies are made out of fly line backing of various types.
