Ruard, narco-- thanks for elaborating...I actually have some (natural) mole on hand, so I'm looking forward to using it.

Addendum:
I like them on the TMC BL206:
With its amber wire brush, I've started to call this a "Ruard Caddis"...

Very nice CB.....you did a great job.
and no hank, it has nothing to do with the city of brotherly shove. i've got a couple months worth of collective days in Philly under my belt........Philly was ok..........but i always liked Boston, Chicago, D.C., even Detroit better......the Big Appel is the BEST, then San Francisco........somma my favorites are Paris, Tokyo, Amseterdam, London, Rio, Hamburg, Barcelona, Stockholme, Rome.........etc.

Ruard,
Wow! I like this pattern very much. Very interesting stuff turning the body and head around as you did. I like it!
Creationbear, I am flipping back and forth looking at your patterns too! They are wonderful!
Very attractive to the fishermans eye and even more so to the fishes eye. If you fish the Mothers day pattern even in the "off" season, you will find it still catches fish consistantly. Another proof of this patterns lasting effectiveness! I am going out on a limb and predict that Ruards and yours Fathers day Caddis will give the same results!
Stirring the caldron and looking into the future,
Dougsden

Fish when you can, not when you should! Anything short of this is just a disaster.

Re: Father's Day Caddis
I've had a great time making knock-off's of y'all's flies over the past few weeks (I should move to China )...planning on getting a few of them wet tomorrow.
Re: Father's Day Caddis
Great pattern Ruard and the photo is top notch. The photo has great depth to it which is hard to capture in pictures of flies. I have also found good quality mole to have more sheen to it than a lot of other natural dubbing.
I hate it when I think I'm buying organic vegetables, and when I get home I discover they are just regular donuts.
