C.B., to see the results of the (19th annual i believe) Ken Sawada Grand Prix Championship, go here. http://www.kensawada.com The winning fly this year (for last year i spose), is amazing. There's a whole slew of guys in Japan can tye rediculusly well.......
Carl.....i've got a whole Pintail skin......if i can remember where i got it, or if i find another, or run into a hunter with an extra, etc., i'll do what i can for you. There are some really cool feathers on there, that if you saw them alone, you might not even guess what bird they came from.

Old Hat--thanks for elaborating; what brand of glossy cement are you using? (BTW, I'm really addicted to "duck" hackle these days...been trying to scare up some mersanger and widgeon, if nothing else.)
Willowhead--thanks for the link...between the Sawada "pro store" and my Tenkara addiction, I've got to get to Japan before too long.

Cool Mark. If you reel it in sometime and it comes to mind, I'm sure we can swap some goodies.
For cement, I have been using a product sold by Al Beatty called aqua flex and aquatuff. I fist coat with the thicker aquaflex as it does not soak in as much then finish with a coat or two of the aquatuff. I have searched for years for good cement and have found this to be my favorite.
Here is the link. I usually just pick it up a show.

I hate it when I think I'm buying organic vegetables, and when I get home I discover they are just regular donuts.
