Charles Cotton mentions using fur from a greyhounds tail in 1667. So nothing is new. I'd like to know how he was quick enough to catch the greyhound....

My African Grey parrot has on more than one occasion supplied me with some very nice soft hackle feathers. Here's a link to a post on this forum from a while back. I also use his dropped tail feathers as a scarlet ibis imitation.

Here is my cat, her fur makes beautiful dubbing and when shes asleep I cut longer bits off if required. If not in a deep sleep she doesnt take it very well, actually she takes it quite badly and I usually pay for it
