DEAR SCOTFLY,
THAT'S ONE GREAT LOOKING FLY! IT GIVES NEW MEANING TO TRANSPARENCY OR TRANSLUCENCE (SPELLING HAS ALWAYS BEEN A PROBLEM WITH ME. I KNOW, SPELL CHECK IS ON THE TASK BAR SOMEWHERE?). IT'S REALLY WELL TIED TOO! SILVER BADGER HEN? WHERE? WHERE? KEEP FEEDING US THE GOOD STUFF LIKE "THE GHOST"!

That badger cape was actually a cheap Indian one, about £3.00 ( $4 - $5)
Glad you all liked it.

I Googled Guttermann and did not see that thread. Is it the correct number?

Just have to know where to look ;)

This is sold in North America as Sulky--a mylar "thread" used in automatic embroidery machines. Incredibly strong for such a fine gauge mylar, it makes great ribbing in nymphs and the like.

I found Silver:

But the 8021 code references "clear," which this looks to be.

We will have to wait for a comeback I guess.
