Black and Grizzly Snatcher

Post by Ron Eagle Elk » Fri Jun 07, 2024 11:06 am

I saw this during an internet search for lake flies. Found it on a Polish site. I have not fished it, but think it will do well.
Hook: Scud hook of your choice, size 12. I didn't have any on hand and used a TMC 206BL.
Tag and underbody is Flourescent Pink thread or floss. On future ties I may coat the tag with resin.
Rib is silver wire or oval tinsel.
The body is several layers of black Uni-Stretch, tapering slightly.
The palmer hackle is grizzly hen secured by the rib.
The collar is black hen.
