Just Google Firestar Trilobal Nylon fibers, many fiber arts shops have it. 8-) I bought from 2 different ones. ;)

This has come a long way from starting with LaFontaine and Dazzleaire from a craft shop decades ago. :D

Bill
I still have a bunch of Aunt Lydia's Sparkle Yarn from those days.

You can see the glint of the nylon all over the body...

the dubbing comes close to the shade of the Black Peacock Ice Dubbing I use.

 My next blend will use all the colors of the UV Trilobal Nylon I have with the beaver for a hot body steelhead fly. ;)

I just ordered two packages of the stuff. Want one? Maybe once the rain stops we can meet up at Alvin's again. Maybe bring coffee if we have to sit in the driveway again.

We are alive and well. Fly boxes are full (at least mine), but the rivers are near flood stage due to snow melt and three days of torrential rain and the lakes still have a sheet of ice on them. Open water fishing here in the south zone starts April 1st. Yeah, April Fool's Day. With the water conditions as they are, I'll be sitting here on the computer.

Here is a link to an Ebay seller that I have ordered from.

https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_ssn=cr ... 61.l170197

Firestar and Angelina fibers are what are marketed in the fly tying trade as Ice, Arizona, Krystal, SLF, Prism, Spectrum, you name it, dubbing. It is all the same. The only difference in all of them is how they mix their color ranges.
Note that Angelina is a larger size than Firestar. All of these fibers are used in fabric.
You will get a better deal than ordering through fiber/craft dealers than fly tying sources. Isn't that always the case?

Ordered mine at the same place. They shipped really fast. Product should be here Monday.

Sure. If I can tie a fly that looks half as good as the stuff Roadkill is tying, I'll be a happy man. Shot you an email this morning. I can do Alvin's any day except tomorrow. Tomorrow is opening day so I'll be down at GLS not catching salmon. Thursday is looking grim... but what the hell, this time we bring coffee!
