Pretty cool looking nymphs Wayne! They have just got to catch a trout! I love the contrasting copper colored strip on the back! That has to be a hot spot (trigger) to a watchful trout or salmon!
Great work friend! We wanna see more!

Fish when you can, not when you should! Anything short of this is just a disaster.

Those look incredible. They'd look like something a fish would easily take. Real buggy and the copper stands out, but brings it all together.
I prefer copper over gold because it has worked better for me.
Great job, Wayne.

Thank you, sir. I cannot take credit, nor did I tie it near as good as the originator. I am floating the Gunnison today and plan on giving these a whirl.Fishnkilts wrote: ↑Thu Feb 29, 2024 6:41 am Those look incredible. They'd look like something a fish would easily take. Here is the link to the pattern. I did not tie it on a jig hook,

I watched the video and have to say in all honesty that I prefer your fly to his.
It's just my opinion, but your fly looks buggier and flies tied on a jig hook look off to me if they have a tail, because when you fish a jig hook the tails are below the body instead of on top because of the bend of the hook.

Ah shucks, you made me blush.
Thank you for the kind words. It is appreciated.

Wish I was floating along side of you, not happening in my neck of the woods yet, but soon the Watermaster will get its inaugural float on the Crooked... Great fly as always.
