Thank you everyone. Good materials go a long way ...

Yes, my chicken still has feathers. You rarely see these offered. I knew it would make a great feather for soft hackles.

Re: Claret & Prairie Chicken
Bill, I'm sorry I saw this earlier and am just getting to post to say kudos to you. I've never tied with Prarie Chicken. The hackle has lots of potential. It's hard to believe there is something new to be seen here everyday. You have thought we would have exhausted revelations in soft-hackles by now, and you guys seem to be unstoppable. Great pattern.

Beautiful work. Love the hackles.
Re: Claret & Prairie Chicken
I am checking in. It has been a long time. I had a bad shoulder injury, and could not tye, or fish. I finally got over that, but then life has been so busy for me. I had some family stuff going on, and now trying to prepare for a move. But yes I want to start fishing and tying again in the future. I got a notice on this topic a while back, but could not sign in. But today I finally got that fixed. I am just taking my time on the move, and getting things fixed. Moving all my fly tying stuff will be a job in itself.
