DSM Caddis
I ran across this fly while cleaning out my old American Fly Fishing mags. It is named for three rivers in Massachusetts. I just have to give it a try since it is so similar to some patterns I love for caddis.

Well done Bill!
Simple pattern but very deadly during a Caddis hatch.
The Deerfield, Swift and the Millers rivers , hence the name DSM.

Here is the other size suggested in the article. A #16 tied with a Peacock eye herl.

Re: DSM Caddis
I love, love, love the Deerfield. The Millers is great with the right water conditions; and completely overlooked. The Swift is way too crowded for my taste. Being a tailwater close to Boston, it's a popular river. I don't get down that far south much anymore to fish any of those rivers. I may have to now.
I really like this pattern. Nice tie, Bill.
