Partridge Skins, would you send them back?
I don't like to complain and I have purchased several skins from this seller with no problems, not mentioning the name. 1 skin is beautiful, the other 2 not so much. Missing a lot of feathers off the back of the skins. 1 of these skins does have really nice e feathers around the neck. So, would you send them back?

Thanks. Honestly, that's what I was thinking i should do. Think I'll email him and send him some pics.
Email with pics has been sent. I hate to complain, but 2 of the skins are simply sub par.

Greg,
I agree with DUBBN. You're doing the right thing. Quality control isn't what it should be at that shop.

He replied, said I ordered pro grade, which is the lowest grade and that there was a 30% increase in cost this summer. Gonna send them back and get a couple more of better quality, and higher cost. Crazy how 1 of the same quality was so beautiful. Oh well.

My guess is if you saw those 3 necks in a fly shop, you would only have purchased 1 of them. Seems strange that "Pro" is the lowest grade; what is the better grade called?
Bottom line: you're not happy, so returning them is the right answer.

Select is middle
Premium is top
Yes, if I'd I seen them at a fly shop I wouldn't have bought them. I sent them back and have 2 Premium skins coming. To me Pro sounds like it should be pretty good. Still learning. Maybe the skin I kept should have been sold as Premium? I dunno, but it was really nice. These are without a doubt the worst Partridge Skins I've ever received. Hoping my next set are primo!

I would avoid ordering from that shop again, if it were me. That second skin, to me at least, looks like it was used by someone, then resold.

Please let us know how the "Premium" skins look. I'm pretty sure I recently received an e-mail with a newsletter from the shop involved here. Surprising, as my previous buys of skins from this shop have been great transactions--including a Golden Plover!
