Here's my take on this bug.

Burgundy thread
Grey Mole Body spun in a dubbing loop
Medium Blue Dun Hackle collar
Size 12 1X Wet Fly Hook

Love it, and since I’m a total newbie to flymphs and wet flies I like that for Hendricksons here in Michigan, any thoughts?

Mike, for sure . I also use one with mole and that pelt with a pink thread for the Hendrickson hatch.

Ken, this is a piece of walnut a friend of mine gave me from trees taken down on his property before building his house. It made for a great Clark Block .
