SOFT~ HACKLE JOURNAL

Post by Variant » Tue Mar 28, 2023 1:13 pm

I just received my copy of the SOFT ~ HACKLE JOURNAL and all I can say is OUTSTANDING !
The articles are all about swinging wet flies and the like . Great subjects on soft hackles by our own Carl Sanders aka OLD HAT, John Shaner, Dave Hughes , Steven Bird to mention a few. I would also like to mention the artwork and photography , it is first rate.
I have no financial interest in this publication.

Lou - My copy arrived yesterday, and I had the same reaction. I am delighted after only a brief review of the contents.

Congratulations to Steve, Carl, John and all the other contributors. I am very happy I subscribed. Well done folks.

I’d be interested but just googled and at US$120 (approx NZ$200) international subscription per year for four issues…..
I don’t think so..

Eagerly awaiting my issue. Glad to see it making an appearance in a mailbox near me.

Thanks for the kind words guys. Just getting going.

Soft~Hackle Journal is only a name. Wingless wets will get a lot of ink, but it's not about just that. Would like to insert more literature, actually.

I just sent my $ too. I hope that the first issue isn't out of print.

Thank you, Steve!
