I got stuck in the shuck on this one.... Liking it a lot but can't seem to finish it or emerge from it. My first read of this author. Captivating ideas. Terrific photos. Thank you again, Ray.

(I did find it odd that he never mentions Leisenring/ Hidy, anyone else have that same thought?)

I thought it odd too!
PETER HAYES earlier book titled FLY FISHING OUTSIDE THE BOX does not mention Leisenring/ Hidy .
Another British author TERRY LAWTON gives almost a full chapter on Leisenring/ Hidy is his book THE UPSTREAM WET FLY.
DATUS PROPER in his book titled WHAT THE TROUT SAID mentions the Leisenring /HIDY only once.
I guess it is hit or miss and who you read in the fly fishing world !
