Magpie

Post by Terrestrial12 » Thu Dec 29, 2022 6:29 pm

Would anyone be willing to reach in to their bag of tricks and sell me a magpie tail feather? Even a small, crappy or half used one. Not looking for a deal, I'll pay retail. I just dont want to buy 10 and that's the only source I've found.

Aren't they protected under the Migratory Bird Act?

I get my Magpie from Cookshill in England. I bought a whole skin several years ago with a single pattern in mind. I think I tied two or three of the flies. Haven't touched the rest.

Feel free to use pheasant tail dyed black.
I hate it when I think I'm buying organic vegetables, and when I get home I discover they are just regular donuts.
