Letumgo I've also seen seasonal packs for people who sew on etsy and ebay. So for example for "fall" you would get orange, yellow, brown, maybe green...."christmas" you'd obviously get red, green and white..."Halloween" black and orange....you get the idea. Too bad they don't have a "fly tyer" pack of primrose, purple, orange, and maybe scarlet or claret hahaha. Maybe they could be persuaded. I bet it would actually sell pretty well lol

If you're getting a single spool Amazon is the way to go. I got a spool for 6 dollars and free shipping and had it in 2 days where as the same spool was going to cost me 11 or 12 dollars from superior, so literally half price.
Free shipping from amazon? Their site says free of over $25.

And they show a price of $7.60.

Ya free shipping. Each item has a different price man. You can buy the exact same thing from 2 different vendors and getv2 different prices. Or buy something one day and buy the exact same thing the next time sorry a Slightly different price. Were splitting hairs over a dollar but either way I got it for half of what i would have spent from superior. Buy it wherever you want tho bro it's your money

My mistake. I pulled my bank statement for you and it cost me exactly 8 dollars and 8 cents after tax. Still quite a bit cheaper for me to go that rout

"In my opinion it I better than Pearsall's in every way. Smaller, more "silky", and you get way more of it."

:o  Whew!, now I can breath. I just didn't want to be the first one to say it!

I agree with this statement.

Hahaha old hat glad I could be the Judas goat for ya! The colors are also plenty good enough. Whose to say any old orange, pale yellow, or "wine" colored silk isn't just fine, regardless if it's even close to Pearsall's or not. We only use that as the standard because that's what our predecessors used....not because it's perfect. I actually found a cache of pearsalls for sale in every color and only a couple dollars more than what we're spending on kimono or YLI....but I'm still going with kimono. I like the idea of being able to experiment with some random colors too
