As my old friend back in Texas would say... that's a tasty morsel...

Bill,
Absolutely lovely and very buggy looking pattern friend! How creative you were with the materials - in other words, masterfully applied to make this pattern top dog! I really like what you do Bill!

Fish when you can, not when you should! Anything short of this is just a disaster.

Thanks Doug,
I believe I just reflect the inspiration of the many talented tiers that contribute and continue to share ideas (new and old) on the Forum.
I learned a long time ago at fly tying shows, that you never know if the next good idea may come from an expert or a eager beginner on either side of the vise.

Aaaaaand, another one that I am stealing to add to the box. Brilliant use of materials.

As the editor of Rolling Stone use to say. “Crazy”
Re: Rust Brown & Birds
I'll speak up for Roadkill on this one....doubt he's checking the forum too regularly from the South of France....Just another of the hundreds of flies from Roadkills fertile mind. Plus, on any given day on the water, he'll tie on at least a dozen different ones to test.
If you read this Bill, I hope you are enjoying the wine and pastries..
