We get something similar here in western Colorado.

Your pattern fits the requirements nicely .

I like that fly a lot! We get a healthy numbers of them around here. Thanks for posting this pattern

We sure do and just last weekend saw them out. Both my versions have rubber legs. The other pattern I use is Pat's rubber leg in various sizes.

I fish with something similar to what has been posted here. I fish them from now, through Spring run-off. The pattern changes from year to year, but always ends up being Black, and a size 14.

I used it as an attractor last week with some good results

Does anyone have the list of materials for Oliver Edwards' version of the Little Black Stonefly or Early Black Stonefly? I believe it might have been featured in one of his videos.
