Alder Wet Fly (Starling and Peacock) by Oholi's Flies

Post by letumgo » Sat Feb 19, 2022 1:27 pm

I saw a new video by one of the fly tyer's I follow on YouTube. This gentleman tyes some amazing flies, and does an excellent job explaining the materials and details of the techniques.

Anyway, figured I'd share the video here since it looks like a very effective fishing pattern. I'm planning to give them a try.

Excellent video! I'm about to become his fan.

Ray, thanks for posting yet another version of the Alder fly. I now have four different recipes for the same fly. I'm thinking of taking a few good points from each version and creating a mash-up Alder fly for the swap.
