A very disheartening conversation

I think that the tiers who wish to discover all theire tying by themselfs are not on this forum. The most important reason is to share and to look what others are doing and enjoy what they have done.

Tying techniek(?) is what you can learn from looking to others: last week I learned from Hans how to split a thread and how to use an electric hackle plier. the splitted thread is espessialy good with the short hairs of a mole and I have another posibillety to turn a hackle.

I think that the creation of something news in flytying depends on two things: if you don't know to much you think you have created something by yourself, the other: inspired by what you did see of someone else you create something that is new for yourself.

If you know much you realise more what you don't know.

Ruard.....what you said is the truest thing there is.....the more you know, the more you realize you don't know squat. At this point for me.....bout the ONLY thing i truely and completely know.....is that i'm still the dumbest MF i know. And that's a fact, because i don't go round foolin' myself into believing i know anyone else, like i know myself, and i NEVER get familier. Can't stand that.....i spose all you can do, is simply keep tryin' to learn. That is why fly tying is SOOOOOOOO fascinating.....you'll never know it all. WAY Cool.....
