Thread - Olive
Ribbing - Olive ultra wire
Body - Dyed olive pheasant tail fibers
Thorax - Olive dubbing
Hackle - Starling
Flytiers sure have a way at making things difficult

Very nice, I’d like to tie some for this spring here in Mi. How many wraps of the starling did you use, and did you use the the whole feather or strip one side.

i think i did 2 wraps with the whole feather. no stripping one side

size 12 but could be tied in your favorite sizes
