Thread - Black
Tail - Brown hackle fibers
Egg Sac - Red dubbing
Rib - Copper wire
Body - Black loss
Wing Case – Turkey tail fibers
Thorax – Hare’s ear dubbing
Flytiers sure have a way at making things difficult

What an interesting pattern. Is this a still water pattern? It kind a looks like a chironomid, or buzzer pattern.

Do you know any of the history of this pattern?

Wow Norm! What a dandy! Such a unique pattern! I know some sipping blue gators that would appreciate this!
