Read 1/3 of it on a flight today. Great reading! Puts the history and development of soft hackle, wet and nymph flies in context (for a newbie like me at least).

It is an excellent book, one of the best I have read on Wet-Flies.
I have had my copy quite a few years now, and I would definately recommend it to anyone.

I bought this book back in '95 when first published. It was my first book on the subject and is still a go-to for reference and instruction. I have most of Dave's other books and find all of them well written and easy to read. It covers all aspects from theory, tying, and fishing. Well worth the ticket price!

If you have a Borders books near you their "In Stock Guarantee" will get you free shipping right to your house. It's been a week since I ordered that same book based on this thread and it's not here yet but I'm in no rush, winter hasn't even started yet.
