It’s a mad, misty, cold start to the 4th of Jul weekend and so armed with a generous
pour of bourbon I’ve started to learn something new thanks to the two Williams . Mr.
Anderson for his beautiful wooden block and Mr. Bailey for his fine tyer’s wax.
Block,silk and a fine wax.

Your in for a treat. Both the block and the wax are works of functional art. Hopefully, there is some card stock to store your creations on.

I have been wondering what the card stock is that's included with the dubbing block. Not that I've used up what is included but I'm curious what to look for if I want more. I'm not sure what William uses for his cardstock. I use archival matting board for picture framing. You can buy it in large sheets at most large hobby stores and cut it to size.
I hate it when I think I'm buying organic vegetables, and when I get home I discover they are just regular donuts.

Doug, Lance Hidy made those decks of cards to match his father’s cards in size and paper weight. I typically use a smaller card, the size of a baseball card that’s about 120lb Bristol paper. I like that I can buy collector sheets for cards and they store easily.
I love seeing what you guys are doing with your blocks.
