Good for you.
My waters are high and a cool 34.
The boat is stored for the winter and
I'm not stepping off the bank until the flows drop.
...and Happy New Year too.

your gray fly looks like what I would call an RS2.

I am wade fishing. As cold as it has been getting, the flow ice only burns off the rivers for about 2 to3 hours on the warmest days. Not enough time to float.
I do not carry a thermometer, but I was told the water temps are 37 F.

I fish wet flies with faith and hope, faith that trout don't require exactitude and hope that when my time comes, God will explain why wet flies work...
