Great picture. Those breast feathers are the color I had in mind. Were you bird watching or bird hunting when you saw this bird? I will ask about the color and see if I can see a picture before buying. I have a California Quail I can use, noting your comments about it being less soft. And a medium dun hen hackle will catch fish too!
