Size 8 TMC7999 and folded wing

Will be fishing folded wings since paired winging materials are scarce and my winging skills are underdeveloped.
I fish wet flies with faith and hope, faith that trout don't require exactitude and hope that when my time comes, God will explain why wet flies work...

The open topic is a good one. I have watched from videos on matching and folding the wing material, and both ways look great. Clyde style flies have intimidated me solely because of the wings until I watched Davie McPhail fold the wings. I haven't tried it yet, but I'll get there soon enough.

The video shared on page 2 of this post I put in my favorite list so I can practice that technique too. Thanks for sharing that video by the way.
