Much appreciated, Ned. I, for one, will take you up on your generous offer, PM to follow.

I would like a sample of the Valla mix too.
There are a few commercial blends I've seen but somehow, the texture wasn't quite right.
Thanks Ned.

Nice to see you back Ron.

The Valla Tups mix is out the door to all who requested it! Thanks for your interest and looking forward to seeing some flies tied with the mix.

I was fortunate to receive 2 samples of Tups dubbing. One from Bob (joaniebo) and 1 from Kevin
(NedZeppelin). One was a bit darker; with perhaps more of an orange tint. I tied some flies with each of the mixes, with the only difference being the dubbing. Of course, with my very limited photography skills, it may be hard for you to discern the difference!

My thanks to Bob and Kevin for your time and sharing these dubbing mixes that allowed me to experiment with a new pattern.

Ned, my package showed up a couple days ago, I just had to relocate the thread. Much appreciated, Kind Sir. Lovely looking blend. I have some small mouth flies to tie, but will get on the Tups for the trip to Jim's place in September. Thanks again, Ned.

Since the pictures of my flies didn't show the color of the 2 dubbings very well, I will add a picture of just the dubbings for you to compare. The 1 on the left, a bit darker with more orange.

Thanks again Bob & Kevin!

My Tups dubbing is a Merino Wool blend- 1 part Red, 2 of Yellow and 5 of Cream colored.
