Thank you for the news from Donald's nephew, Hank. I have been wondering about him recently. I wish him well.

Thank you so much for posting this, and to Donald for writing it. I just found the thread. I have been reading older post as I have time. I just downloaded the book, WOW! Can't wait to read through it!

As do I, Ray. Donald is the one who turned me from a dry fly snob to a wet fly guy so many years ago. Very thankful he did. I catch a lot more fish now.

Me as well. A true gentleman.

What a great contribution, so glad that this link got bumped up. I’m looking forward to pouring over it this long weekend and have forwarded the link to 2 close friends that are members but still lurking atm...

This information is really appreciated, thanks for posting it; a fantastic read. When I got here I thought I knew a little. After my first week I realized just how little...

Howdy All;
Glad to see this Epistle of Donald again, thought I'd had it saved somewhere in the bowels of this computer
but when someone asked a while back (month or 2), it was like "poof you were gone" ... Now I've got it
in 3 different
files so if one goes AWOL it should still be in the others.
Miss Donald's thoughts and input , a lot.

Re: Donald Nicholson's Wet Fly Compendium
I've moved this post from the Fishing Cabin section to the Wet Fly Literature and History section, to make it easier for people to find Donald's wonderful contribution to this site.
