BWO
Dear all,
I hope everyone is keeping safe during these challenging times. It's been a while since I last posted but this morning I tied a few #18 BWO soft hackles in hopes of fishing tomorrow. So far, fishing is not completely shut down in my area. Sorry for the picture quality but I just used my iPhone.
Stay safe,
Otto

Re: BWO better pics
I took some more pictures today with better lighting and a few different backgrounds. Overall, fishing was pretty good.

Re: BWO
I would never be able to tie something like that in those sizes. No matter what size, I would be challenged. It must be either the seal or the camera. I really like the sweeping lines in the fly. What hook did you use?

Re: BWO
daringduffer,
That fly is tied on a Mustad R50U-94842 and I personally like a hook with an upturned eye. I mainly fish tailwaters and need to tie on small hooks.
Thanks,
Otto

Re: BWO
What a superb pattern. The proportions are so nicely done.
Question - Do you use magnifying glasses? I have become completely dependent on magnification while tying.

What hackle did you use? The recipe would be awesome. I do like those Mustad upturned eye hooks.
